Workbooks protected by ExcelShield’s "Activation" method can only be calculated on specific computers, i.e. those workbooks need to be "activated" for every computer they should run on. The following screen appears whenever a user tries to calculate a workbook protected with the “Activation” method and the workbook has not yet been activated for that computer:
